Our prawn burger has a 96% prawn content made from chopped premium prawns. These prawns start life in a hatchery on the very southern tip of Sumatra, overlooking the volcanic island of Krakatoa in the Java straights. Once hatched, the larvae are transferred to "tambaks' or ponds along the fertile, volcanic grounds of Sumatra's eastern coast just above the "Way Kambas" National park. These are the ideal conditions to ensure that we get the tastiest and deepest colour prawns, guaranteeing that only the best is good enough for our Big & Tasty prawn burger! Our prawns are carefully farmed using sustainable methods with the highest standards of care for the environment and the community.

Cooking instructions

Remove all packaging.
Grill
From Frozen
Preheat grill to a high heat. Place the burgers on a rack on a grill pan and grill for 17-18 mins, turning halfway through cooking.
Shallow fry
From Frozen
Add 2 tbsps of oil to a heavy frying pan. Heat on a medium heat, add the burgers to the pan and pan-fry for 11-12 mins, turning 2-3 times throughout the cooking time.
