Microwave - From Chilled^For 4 gyoza]- Remove sleeve & peel back film halfway- Add 1 tbsp of cold water & replace film- Place 1 tray in the microwave on full power for 35 seconds ^900W] Or 40 seconds ^750W]- Leave to stand for 1 min^For 8 gyoza]- Remove sleeve & peel back film halfway- Add 1 tbsp of cold water to each tray & replace film- Place both trays next to each other in the centre of the microwave- Microwave on full power for 1 min 10 seconds ^900W] or 1 min 20 seconds ^750W]- Leave to stand for 1 min
Steam
From Chilled
^Colander or sieve]- Place colander/sieve above a pan of softly boiling water- Place gyoza in colander/sieve & cover with a lid- Steam for 5-6 mins
Shallow fry
From Chilled
^Authentic japanese style]- Pre-heat pan with 1 tsp of oil on a low/medium heat- Add gyoza to pan & cook for 4 mins- Add 4 tbsp of cold water into pan & cover with a lid- Cook for a further 4 mins until all the water evaporates
