Dried durum wheat semolina pasta.Our No. 1 Mafaldine is made in the foothills of the Apennine mountains of Campania with 100% Italian durum wheat semolina. It's shaped using traditional bronze dies for a slightly roughened texture which holds more sauces, and slowly dried to capture the flavour of Italian durum wheat semolina. Mafaldine is traditionally served with Napoletana sauce, made with tomatoes, olive oil and basil.

Hob. Boil. Time: 7-8 minutes. Allow approximately 90g dry pasta per 180g cooked serving. For best results, place pasta in a saucepan of boiling water, boil for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. A shorter cooking time results in a more "al dente" (firm) texture. When pasta is cooked drain immediately and serve. Pasta absorbs water when cooked. 90g of uncooked pasta weighs 180g when cooked. Nutrition per serving is based on cooked weight.
