Wine of Italy. In Manduria, in Puglia, in the heart of Salento, where the soil is hard and the climate is dry, a rare few precious vineyards have been passionately cultivated for generations. We started off from what some considered 'madness' ('Pazzia' in Italian), to make a great wine from plants that, due to their low yields, were likely to be eradicated. Now, after careful nurturing, these vines give some of the best and most harmonious wines from Puglia! Full bodied and opulent, Pazzia Primitivo is best served at 18º C and paired with rich 'primo' dishes such as creamy orecchiette pasta or game and red meat 'secondi' dishes such as Ragù alla Pugliese.
