Leading the way on packaging

Waitrose Duchy Organic eggs were the first to be sold in a box made from a mixture of rye grass and recycled paper, using 60% less water and 50% less paper pulp than standard. Our organic bananas come in home-compostable bags

Sharing good ideas

Innovative Farmers is a network of farmers, advisors, researchers and businesses working together on finding solutions that work with nature. It is part of the Duchy Future Farming Programme, which Waitrose co-founded with the Soil Association, and is funded by King Charles III Charitable Fund.

Why Waitrose Duchy Organic milk is different

It's produced on 9 farms in the West Country by cows that enjoy an organic diet and the freedom to graze outdoors as much as the weather allows. Waitrose Duchy whole milk isn't homogenised, so the cream rises naturally to the top.
