We told you it was unconventional. While others distill single malts twice, Auchentoshan is triple-distilled for extra smoothness. This American Oak version is left to age in ex-bourbon barrels. This makes it even more mellow it's also where it picks up telltale flavours of vanilla and coconut. These creamy flavours are the perfect complement to the white peach, sugared grapefruit and hint of spice that make Auchentoshan whisky so unique. Made on the outskirts of Glasgow, Auchentoshan is an urban single malt. The vibrancy of Scotland's second city has influenced its innovation for more than 200 years. Launched in 1823, the distillery has seen it all: from the industrial revolution and WWII bombings to the art and music movements of the late 20th Century. Auchentoshan American Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an award winner, and recently took Gold at the International Spirits Challenge 2020. In previous years (2017 and 2018) it won silver at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
