WHO CAN ENTER

This prize draw is open, subject to any other qualifications in these terms and conditions, to all residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 years or over with a valid email address, except for employees of the Promoter, its associated companies, agents, third parties or anyone else professionally connected with this prize draw. Proof of age may be required.

By submitting a prize draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the terms and conditions of this prize draw. In the event of a conflict, these terms and conditions take precedence. 

Purchase of at least one pack of Pukka teas (20 sachets), subject to availability online and/or in store, from Waitrose is necessary. You will need your receipt number to enter. There is no charge to submit an entry via the website at waitrose.com/winacornishgetaway.

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES

Entries must be received between 00:01 on 2nd January 2025 and 23:59 on 28th January 2025. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, simply go to waitrose.com/winacornishgetaway, follow the prize draw instructions at the top of the page and submit your details and other required information using the online form provided.

There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries submitted directly or with the use of any automated systems will not be entered into the draw.

No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in transit, regardless of the cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. 

Those entries not in accordance with the rules will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the prize draw; any entry containing false, incomplete or misleading information will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the prize draw. 

THE PRIZE

There are three prizes to be won. The prizes are as follows: 

Main prize (x1): 

A tranquil Cornish Stays getaway – includes a two-night stay for two adults (18+) at the Harbour Lights luxury holiday home (managed by Cornish Stays) in Charlestown, Cornwall, PL25 3NX. Includes:

a welcome hamper (with a selection of snacks and Pukka teas)

a private chef for one evening.  Arranged by Lipton Teas & Unfusions and their PR agency representatives The Romans, in collaboration with Cornish Stays. The winner will be able to give a preference for the night that they would like the private chef. However, this will be subject to availability.  It will consist of a three course meal for two adults, including a bottle of alcohol to accompany (choice of wine, rose, prosecco or beers up to the total value of £25)

A £50 John Lewis Partnership e-gift voucher to purchase food & drinks at Waitrose for the duration of the stay. Eden Project Tickets for two adults with a £50 lunch voucher to redeem on-site. The voucher will be provided on the day of the visit and can be redeemed at any Eden Project catering venue on any food and drink on the day of the visit only.

The two tickets to the Eden Project permits general admission to Eden for two adults (18+) provided the Eden Project is open to the public on this day. The winner must give Lipton Teas & Infusions PR agency representatives (The Romans) at least seven working days notice ahead of their intended visit date to book. There will be no physical day ticket to Eden provided – guests will be added to the Eden Project guest list and will be required to email us to confirm a visit date. Further details will be provided at the time of contacting the winner. The tickets are valid until 31st December 2025.

Runner up prizes (x2):

A Pukka Teas sleep hamper including a selection of Pukka Night Time teas (one pack of Night Time and one pack of Night Time Berry), one Pukka branded mug, one Neal’s Yard ‘Dreamy Nights: Sleep Ritual’ gift set worth £15 and one Neom ‘Perfect Night's Sleep Scented Candle’ (1 Wick) worth £38.  Contents are subject to availability.

Hampers can be sent to any UK address.

The two-night stay for two adults (18+) at the Harbour Lights luxury holiday home (managed by Cornish Stays) in Charlestown, Cornwall, PL25 3NX is for adult guests only (18+). The stay is subject to availability at the property and can be booked for any available date in 2025 excluding school holidays and bank holidays which are as follows:

14th Feb to 23rd February - Half Term 

4th April to 20th April - Easter Holidays 

2nd to 5th May - May Bank Holiday 

23rd May to 31st May - May Half Term 

25th July to 7th September - Summer Holidays 

24th October to 2nd November - Half Term 

19th December 2025 to 4th January 2026 – Christmas holiday

Any travel expenses, or any other expenses in the general use of and enjoyment of the prize, that the winners or their guests incur are the sole responsibility of the winners or their guests.

Prizes are subject to availability. They are non-transferable, non-refundable and, unless stated, there are no cash alternatives. In the event that the prize is out of stock or if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value. 

WINNER SELECTION

All valid and, if applicable, correct entries received by the Closing Date will be entered into a prize draw, and the winners will be picked at random.  

The winner’s details (surname and county only) will be available for one month after the Closing Date by sending a request to the Promoter by at Waitrose Limited, Media Team, Floor 2, Waite House, Doncastle Road, Southern Industrial Area, Bracknell RG12 8YA, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope, or alternatively by emailing customerserviceteam@waitrose.co.uk.

WINNER NOTIFICATION

Winners will be notified by email, text or phone call as soon as practicable after the prize draw, using the contact details provided with the prize draw entry. The winners will be required to respond within 30 days of notification (unless otherwise stated) confirming their acceptance of the prize. In the event winners do not respond to communications within this period or if any prize is declined, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and draw another winner. 

Please allow 60 days from the date of the winner’s address verification for delivery of the prize.

We will treat all of your personal data as confidential. We will keep it on a secure server and fully comply with all applicable privacy regulations and consumer legislation. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Promoter and its associated agencies, companies and distributors will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this prize draw or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including liability for fraud or death or personal injury arising from negligence) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

If you have opted-in to receive further information or marketing from any of the Promoter’s agents or suppliers involved in the administration of this prize draw, you understand and accept that the relevant third party will be solely responsible for any processing of your personal data for these purposes, that such processing will be governed by terms of that third party’s privacy policy and that the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability in association with any such data processing for these purposes.  

GENERAL

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or if the Promoter believes that your conduct may be unlawful or otherwise bring the prize draw into disrepute, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to make your entry void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or amend the prize prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.

This prize draw and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
